Charlie's favourite time of year for fishing is in winter where he finds he catches the better fish of his year in the colder and quieter months.

A Reading angler who is back in the carp scene after an extended hiatus, the passion reignited during the early stages of covid lockdowns . Between managing a young family and hectic work schedule, Steve is out as much as he can on the hunt for big carp. “Fishing busy waters I often find myself dropping into swims. By being different in my approach, I can often create something from nothing

I have fished the Yateley lakes since I was 10 years with my dad, catching, roach and rudd and perch. Before getting hooked on catching tench. I didn't start carp fishing till I was 25. Once I started I was well and truly hooked starting on the match lake before moving on to the copse lake. The car park lake was next which was unbelievably hard having only 9 carp in. I caught 3 before moving on to the North lake and managing to catch Bazil at 46lb 2oz still my biggest carp to date. I moved from lake to lake to catch carp that I either had not caught or that had grown on. It's my magical place to fish and still is to this day 35 years later. Tactics these days for me and weedy waters are PVA bags and chods.

As an avid angler with a passion for sustainability, I believe it's crucial to approach fishing with an environmentally conscious mindset.
My journey into the world of fishing began at the tender age of four, starting with the typical silver fish and match fishing. However, it was at the age of twelve that I was introduced to carp fishing, and from that moment, I became utterly captivated by this remarkable sport.
Among the various fishing techniques I've explored, my absolute favorite is surface fishing and stalking in the margins. I relish the solitude of fishing alone, as it allows me to adopt a stealthy approach and transform seemingly quiet waters into exciting arenas of activity.
My fishing aspirations are clear: I aim to bag a high 30-pounder in the next few years. Since using seasoned baits my catch rate is higher - more consistent and The Spice and The Fource are my baits of choice ....

Fishing since the mid 00's, Sam Wright is just as passionate about the sport as he was when he was a littlen.
Fishing mainly around essex pits Sam is a firm believer in seasoned baits sustainable approach to carp fishing.
A current UK PB of 39lb 8oz and now on the hunt for his first UK 40lber, seasoned baits will help get that done.

I am from Merseyside in the North west of England and have been fishing since I was 12 years old. Doing mainly weekend overnighters and quick sessions my number one priority is finding the fish and will often not set up until I have found them or seen any signs of fish activity. I love nothing more than baiting spots and fishing right under my feet for them , its has to be the most exciting style of carp fishing , if anybody has fished with me they know I can't keep still and will often "go for a wander" to try and find an opportunity. Being outdoors and immersed in nature is a huge part of fishing for me , taking it all in and noticing those little things along the way is what it is all about. I am a huge supporter of seasoned baits ethos of sustainability and cannot wait to see what the coming seasons bring.

Phillippe come from Paris in France and was our first European experience angler to join the team. He has been fishing since he was 13 and has a great passion for being outdoors in nature. Phillipe joined the team as he believes in our sustainability ethos but most of all recognize the quality natural ingredients we use. Phillipe has a Pb common of 59.5lbs. His favourite rig to fish is the helicopter rig where he finds this his most effective approach. He likes to fish alone where stalking his fish is a great tactic.

Born and Raised in Essex, I have always had a love for fishing from the age of 7 starting with my Grandad. So From there I would be watching and learning many different components of fishing on the TV and online.
Mainly fish a Syndicate and a few day ticket waters with one being Berners Hall Fishery in Essex and always looking for a challenge on new syndicate waters to add to the list.
Hoping to do a lot more fishing in France and other homes of big carp in other countries.

Born and raised in Aldershot, I started fishing at the young age of 7, my mother took me down to the local park lake that was holding a fun day event for kids. Which I received a full whip set up. From then I was hooked, begging her to take me down and sit with me every weekend until I was old enough to go on my own.
Fast forward to now, I’ve fished many places. Popular venues like Farlows, Linear and Tywnersh. A couple of private venues, and plenty of club waters. Currently spending a lot of my angling time on Yateley East, mainly on the Match Lake.
I’m always either watching or reading all things fishing. As my partner says ‘you always talk about fishing or football’ but with Arsenal being my team, I’ll let you guess on what I talk about more!

Kent-based big fish specialist Sam has been fascinated with fish (particularly carp) from a young age. He started his angling journey on the canals of Birmingham, and now fishes from his boat on the River Medway (he likes a challenge).
With a back catalogue of a dozen 100lb + freshwater fish across 3 different species, and two over 150lb (Siamese Carp & Freshwater Stingray) Sam is a well-travelled angler. He has even caught the mighty “Warrior” from Gillhams at 155lb. However, he’s never happier than when fishing for old English Leneys on his local gravel pits. Sam is passionate about Seasoned Bait’s ethical approach, and loves the sustainability of the bait, in which he has complete confidence.

Josh is from South Wales and mainly fishes 2 waters, his local park lake through the winter and the carp society’s horseshoe through spring, summer & autumn with the odd trip to Linear fisheries for a good bend in the rods.
I’ve also been seen to be on the farriers waitlist. I started fishing when I was a kid and never lost the passion for it and started carp angling seriously about 5 years ago, I'm not lazy with my angling either so I make as much effort as I need to to get a bite, often moving after a quiet night. Joined season baits after using some liquids and getting some great results ever since.
Pete Everett (aka: Pedro the Fisherman) has been fishing on and off for more than 50 years, catching his first carp aged 10 and been obsessed ever since (it’s not a hobby).
Mainly fishing club lakes and small syndicates, suits his old school tried and tested simple approach, big or small, he’ll fish for them all.
Never one to run with the crowd, is how and why he found Seasoned Baits. Looking for a bait, ethos and approach that’s the complete opposite of what the masses are doing.
“Doing and using what everyone else does, gets you the same results as everyone else…..that’s not for me”

John Doyle or known as ‘John John’ by most, has targeted Reservoirs, Basins, Canals and Park Lakes in London for 10+ years using a whole range of methods, from long baiting campaigns to the simplicity of stalking a small lake, there’s nothing that he hasn’t seen before, especially fishing in London. Currently sitting with a UK PB of 36.6 he aims to catch my first UK 40 this year, and has confidence in no other bait to do that than the ‘The Bug Bites’. I also plan to venture out of London and begin fishing some of the lower stocked waters around Essex And Kent this year in order to complete this goal
